General Information About Affinity Body Solutions Medical Spa Service in Tampa Florida

What is Affinity Body Solution’s cancellation policy?
We respectfully ask that you give the Spa at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. We would be more than glad to accommodate you in rescheduling your appointment.

How should I tip my Esthetician?
Leaving a tip is up to you. You may tip according to normal standards as in a salon, restaurant, etc. You may choose to increase or decrease this amount based on the quality of services and your experience with our esthetician, and your service satisfaction. You may leave this tip on your credit or debit card or we can also provide you with an envelope if you prefer to leave cash for your service provider.

What time should I arrive for my spa services?
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of your first scheduled service. This allows you time to check in at the desk and complete a Skin & Health History Questionnaire. We also recommend that you shower before any body waxing service.

Can I use my cell phone in the spa?
In order to preserve the relaxing environment, we do ask that you turn off your cell phone, e-mail and other electronic devices during your procedure.

Should I shave before my services?
Although this is a personal decision, we recommend allowing several hours between shaving and receiving any service that involves waxing in order to decrease the risk of skin irritation or discomfort.

What are my responsibilities as a guest?
Please advise our staff of any special requests, sensitivities or allergies, if you are nursing, breast-feeding, or taking any medications. This information will be requested of you in the Health History Form you will fill out before your service. We also appreciate you sharing any pertinent information when you call to make your Spa appointments. We will use this information to keep you comfortable and safe throughout your Spa experience. Please notify us of any discomfort or preferences regarding room temperature, music volume, or massage pressure during your Spa experience.

If I'm pregnant, what services can I receive?
Expectant guests may receive facial services that do not include a peel. We recommend that you check with your physician before booking any Spa services.

What if I have special medical conditions?
We recommend that you check with your physician before visiting our facility. Please notify the esthetician of any special needs or concerns when you book your services. Your therapist will also briefly review your health history with you before beginning your service. If he or she believes that the service you have scheduled is unsafe for you based on any information given, he or she may recommend canceling the service, booking another service instead, or modifying the service to make it safe for you. As we are most interested in your safety and comfort, Affinity Body Solutions reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at any time.

Will any treatments be uncomfortable?
A pre-treatment consultation at the time of your reservation will address any concerns regarding your comfort. If you are uncomfortable in any way, please bring it to your service provider’s attention.
