We Offer Color Correction For Permanent Makeup That Has Left You Unsatisfied With Your Previous Cosmetic Procedure
Sometimes when permanent makeup has been applied at other permanent cosmetic centers, and they were applied by using a manual or electric pen. This will give the appearance of solid filled in eyebrows that look like a tattoo, not a natural eyebrow. They may have been done too dark, or with an outline around the edge that gives a very unnatural appearance to any woman’s eyebrows.
Do not be discouraged if this sounds like your current situation. We have clients all the time that have had their permanent cosmetics applied elsewhere and are not satisfied with them.
We can help you with concerns such as:
- Color that has been applied unevenly can be corrected and made to look even
- Solid colored eyebrows can be corrected to appear like real hair strokes
- It is possible to remove and lighten colors, within reason
- It is possible to change and adjust colors, within reason
We can work with you to make them soft, even and appear as hair strokes. Many clients have contacted us regarding corrections that were performed at other permanent cosmetic centers. We can give you that natural look and correct problems with thickness, thinness, too dark, too light, bad outlines, crooked shapes and more.
If your permanent makeup has changed its color to pink, grey, green or orange tints, this is generally caused by damage from strong chemicals that you have applied to the pigmented area while using skin care products. When you have a permanent cosmetic procedure, the pigment
is placed under the skin and protected from surface elements; its color will not change unless you are using a skin care product that is made to penetrate the skins surface. It is expected for permanent cosmetics color to fade and become slightly lighter over the years, but a color change that takes place much sooner is the result of chemicals
The most common chemicals that cause the color fading are alpha hydroxy, Retin-A, and Salicylic Acid. These chemicals when used on the skin can dissolve the top tone of the color, which leaves only the residue of the undertone. This can occur very quickly, sometimes in as little as 2-3 months. This can leave the remaining color with the look of watercolor and or appear to be smudged.
